Energy Workers make space for change!

Dear Circle,

We join energy and intention this month to use our skill as energy workers to release and transform old energy into NEW LIFE!

Let go of something old and choose what you want to use the energy to create. It can be something as simple as clearing out old papers, letting go of a grudge or even, as I have done this month, giving away cherished old possessions which become new treasures for the recipients and make room for new achievements.

Making Space requires a life review. What parts of you no longer serve you and how can you release them. Our possessions are often symbols for whole periods of experience or for a person we once were. Look at where you have learned the lesson, acquired the skill, integrated the loss, accepted the reward and move on. You can never get something back, as YOU have changed. You can use that energy in your life now to create your dreams.

The Practical Intuition once a year Boot Camp training is in NYC at the end of September. Let me know if you have any questions about this very challenging training!

Please remember to re-tweet, facebook and so on to support our Circle.

I put daily exercises on lauradayintuit@twitter and I do healing each morning on your healing requests which you can send to healingday@aol.com. Please make them short as, for your privacy, I am the only one reading my e-mail.

Please keep me and my family in your healing as well!

Love,

Laura

The instructions in The Circle ARE NOT TO CHANGE YOUR WISH! You need to choose a goal and stick with it. The desire to change it all the time is an inner roadblock and you need to focus in the Coherence and Inner Roadblock elements to work it through!!

      Thank you for your feedback!

A friend gave me a copy of Rule The World From Your Couch. What a wonderful book! I know it is the right thing at the right time. I’m on my second read/work through. It was too good to get all of it in one gulp. Want to thank you with all my heart. Your words are life, and light to my hungry soul.

Blessings abundant to you and all whom you love.

    Cheers,
    Skye

In 2010, I suffered a stroke while driving my mother home from a doctor’s appointment. The experience of recovery from beginning to the present time has been nothing short of miraculous. However, the few challenges that remain are frustrating. While my experience of suffering a stroke is probably mild compared to other cases, I’ve had to adjust in ways that taught me to never take anything for granted. I’ve had to re-learn (what some consider minor functions) how to button my shirt, feed myself (without drooling), and write my name, to mention a few things.

While going through the challenge of recovery I was also enrolled in a massage therapy course to become licensed. It was a goal to do massage therapy prior to having the stroke and I didn’t allow the stroke to deter my efforts. I believe the massage therapy program helped during my recovery process. One year after suffering the stroke I was physically capable of doing massage. I began working at a spa in a beach resort. I was doing about 100 massages per week or at least 6 per day. However, while my enthusiasm of healing and working in my gift was indeed a delight, the workload was too much, too soon, and I was instructed by my doctor to ‘take it easy’. I’m striving to return to part-time capacity of massage therapy.

My current challenge of stroke recovery that is most frustrating is Aphasia. Occupational Therapy has helped tremendously with speech therapy. However, I knew intuitively the issue that remains is a blocked chakra (throat) and possibly blocked meridians. I was given exercises in Occupational Therapy to help with my voice. These exercises helped tremendously, however, my voice has not returned to the tone it used to be years ago. After 1 1/2 years, I accepted that my current voice is a result of the stroke. I knew I needed to get a reiki session done or perform it on myself, but never made the effort, in fear it wouldn’t work. I didn’t want to be proven wrong that reiki wasn’t effective, as I was told by skeptics.

While visiting Laura Day’s website and blog, I was inspired to re-read one of her books again. I’m sure many have experienced the awe-inspiring activity of completing one of her workbook exercises and blown away with what’s revealed.

After reading Laura’s blog, I sent her a healing request because I felt I needed someone who was ‘like-minded’ in intuition and healing to assist in my quest. I began chanting again and performing the Therapy exercises for my voice. As of last night I noticed a tremendous change. I was also struggling to maintain my blood pressure at an acceptable and normal rate. My blood pressure has been stable for the past few days compared to it being abnormal over the last 3 weeks.

I guess I just wanted to share on her blog a sincere thank you and also encouragement to all of the gifted healers who visit her page. While suffering a stroke has been the best thing to have happened FOR me, it has also been a source of frustration. WHile I have been able to experience how the brain can re-wire itself to find the neuro pathways to perform necessary functions, I also am reminded daily that at anytime, your world can change into something you can never fathom. I know my healing is an effort that includes western medicine but also because I was determined to incorporate other complimentary and alternative methods to assist in my healing. Methods such as massage therapy, reiki, chanting, crystal therapy, herbal teas, sage burning, etc. While my family thinks I’m weird and crazy for the things I’ve added to my health regimen, I know certainly those added measures contributed to my healing.

So to all the healers out there…continue to nurture your gift and be of service. THere are many people who NEED your gift of healing. I’m grateful for Laura Day and all of those who author books, facilitate workshops, and share their gifting so that others can perfect their own gift. God bless you all and also, get your blood pressure checked regularly and remain stress – free!

Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us. All healers are wounded healers. A person without wounds does not exist and our wounds always give us great power if we embrace them as teachers as you have.

Hi Laura! For those of us born psychic it comes as a shameful thing sometimes and with a lot of baggage and insecurities from a childhood of being this way. It is especially difficult to find the boundaries between what is appropriate use of it and what is manipulation to the point I just blocked out my gift since childhood. But now I am letting it back in my life again I am again really struggling with the guilt that comes with it and knowing when it is appropriate to use it. I want my gift to be a healthy thing, not be shamed of it and be ok with the fact it benefits me. Any adivce?

I remember in one workshop I had a man who had taken the workshop as an anniversary gift to his wife but he didn’t “believe” in intuition. When, after the first exercise he received accurate, verifiable information about someone he had never met intuition had proven itself but now his problem was that he felt that having and using that information was manipulative and wrong. I suggested to him what I now suggest to you which is that it is better to use intuition consciously to create desired outcomes and make conscious decisions about the integrity of what you are doing than to use it subconsciously, which we all do, to create outcomes that are often bad for everyone. We are always, ALWAYS using intuitive information whether we choose to or not and, as we say in our house, choose to use it for “good not evil (pronounced EVILE in our house).
Childhood is a challenging time for most people and we all carry baggage. You need to decide how to use your intuition, what your own rules are and use it to release the baggage and not be limited by it which, by the way, is a life long process for us all!

      Laura

hi! … again you asked me to present my emailed questions to you on your blog. I do not know if you meant both or one so I am sending both.
    1.hi!

i have some questions about energy transference… i think!

i have had some situations that have had negative energy about them.
Initially, I am aware of the negativity with no emotion. Sometimes it
continues; its like a kid in the back seat of a car saying
mom, mom, mom, it can be ignored for awhile but its annoying after a
    while, and I get aggravated.

After 1. dismissing it and then 2. after doing a visualation of it
evaporating/being sent back to the author, it abates.

But what I want to know is how do I prevent these occurances?
I have noticed an uptic in these situations after being around certain
    people. Is that possible?

    thanks

2.I was wondering if I could get some confirmations about Tod?

Was his heart attack caused by the small vessels that feed the muscle of the heart? (not by some blockage in major arteries)

I feel like it was in the back (the portion of the heart that is furthest from the front ribcage) towards the bottom (at the more conical portion) and it is about the size of nickel.

I also feel that it was more of a blood clot preventing blood flow causing that portion of the muscle to die.

    let me know. thanks.
